The perfect denim shirt

So you know that perfect, worn-in, long sleeve denim button down that virtually everyone seems to have in their closets? Well, I don’t have one. And I want one. But I feel like goldilocks before she finds baby bear’s chair; I can’t seem to find one that is just right. I have searched high and low, and nothing seems to come in at a reasonable price point. No, I don’t want to spend $200 on a shirt that looks like I’ve already gotten 200 uses out of it. Why oh why isn’t there an H&M in Miami? I’m sure they would have a solution to this.

I have been lusting after the Mulberry Alexa bag for quite some time now. I’m not sure that a white bag would be all that practical in actuality, but isn’t it just gorgeous for summer? And I love the gold-tone hardware.

YSL Arty Ring

I am beyond obsessed with this ring. It comes in quite a wide variety of colors, but I think I would have to start off with the turquoise… followed by the coral and probably lapis… oh boy

Jonathan Adler "Love" Pillow

I love the Jonathan Adler “Love” pillow and I think it would make an adorable addition to my and the boy’s apartment.

YSL Muslin Leopard Print Scarf

I think this leopard scarf is a must-have. I have been watching it for at least a year now and I think it would fit in wonderfully with the rest of my wardrobe. On top of that, it is muslin, making it super lightweight and completely wearable in the outrageous Miami heat.

Finally, the Smythson “Dance like no one’s watching” lime green notebook. Who doesn’t need a nice little notebook to jot down their thoughts and ideas throughout the day? With that ever-inspiring quote and a lime green color that will ensure it’s easy to find in your bag, it’s double the reason to love it.

My first blog post

How do you start your first blog post? Is it like when you meet someone in the “real world”? “Hey, what’s up? My name is Andrea, what’s yours?” Or do I need to write a little blurb on what this blog is ultimately going to be about?

If you are interested in the first question, I guess I already answered (though I would still love to hear your name), but if you are interested in the latter, I suppose the answer is lifestyle, fashion, makeup and glamour. All of the things that I love to obsess over for hours on end.
